INTRODUCTION
Get to know the best of Cusco with this 4-day and 3-night visit that includes a stay in Cusco, city tour, archaeological tour, visit to the Sacred Valley, Expedition or Vistadome train and visit the jewel of Peru, Machu Picchu. We will begin this adventure upon arriving in Cusco, there the transfer to your chosen hotel awaits you. In the afternoon we will visit the city and its tourist and archaeological attractions. The next day we will get to know the Sacred Valley, there we will visit Pisaq and the Urubamba Valley while we head towards the ancient Inca town of Ollantaytambo. On the third day we will board the train to Aguas Calientes to know the jewel of Peru, Machu Picchu. We will make a complete guided tour of the citadel and its most important points. Finally we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and to board the train back to Cusco. The next day breakfast at the hotel and free time in the city. Airport transfer.
ITINERARY
DAY 01:
Timely board the flight to the city of Cusco. VIA LATAM LA2055O LIMCUZ 0623 0750
Upon arrival, Reception and transfer to the chosen hotel. At 13:30 we will start our tour of the city of Cusco. We will visit the Plaza Mayor where most of the buildings retain the colonial style. Then we will visit the Temple of Qoricancha, the maximum expression of the Inca architecture, currently Convent of Santo Domingo. Next we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, characterized by its Renaissance and colonial style. Finally we will visit the four surrounding archaeological centers: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Return to your hotel in Cusco.
DAY 02: Breakfast at the hotel. At 08:30 hours I pick up passengers to take the Sacred Valley tour. We will visit Pisaq, where we will appreciate the archaeological complex as well as the typical artisan market, there we can buy beautiful handicrafts. We will continue with the journey along the Vilcanota River towards the Urubamba Valley where we will enjoy an exquisite buffet lunch. After lunch we will continue our tour to Ollantaytambo and explore the wonderful archaeological complex located there. Return to your hotel in Cusco.
DAY 03: Very early we will move to the train station to go to Aguas Calientes, a town where access to Machu Picchu begins. We will board buses to the chasm to take a guided tour of the citadel for a space of 2 hours. After the tour, take us the bus back to Aguas Calientes, there we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and then board our train back to the city. Return to your hotel.
DAY 04: Breakfast at the hotel and free morning to explore the city. Transfer to the airport at the coordinated time to board the return flight to the city of Lima, via LATAM LA2042O CUZLIM 1703 1835
